Certificate of Tax Payment
Unfortunately, through using this method, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will not issue receipts. Although a certificate of tax payment can be requested from counters of metropolitan tax offices after approximately 10 days from the date of tax payment. Per each tax certificate requested, 400 Yen is required to cover the cost. It is recommended that if you need a receipt or if you require a certificate of tax payment prior to the 10 days then you should pay your taxes using other methods such as using a convenience store or by visiting a banking organisation. If the certificate requested is regarding a motor vehicle tax payment certificate, this will become available from counters of metropolitan tax offices by around 14 days.
Cancellation and Changes
